Founded by Dean Kamen in 1989 with just 28 teams in the FRC strives to promote engineering to High Schoolers. There are 3 levels of F.I.R.S.T; J.F.L.L. (k-3), F.L.L. (4-8), F.T.C. and F.R.C.(9-12).
